About

The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Massachusetts (HBRAMA) is a non-profit trade association consisting of over 2000 single and multi-family builders, developers, remodelers, suppliers and other allied professionals to the residential construction industry.

HBRAMA is one of the 50 state associations within the federation of associations that make up the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Local Associations, chartered or affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders, are automatically a member of the state association.

Objectives

HBRAMA’s purpose is to represent the interests of its affiliated associations by maintaining constructive involvement in government and regulatory affairs in order to meet the housing needs of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its residents.” Chief among our goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing. Working in concert with the NAHB  “The Voice of America’s Housing Industry”, HBRAMA  helps promote policies that keep housing a national priority.

NAHB

The national organization analyzes policy issues, works toward improving the housing finance system, analyzes and forecasts economic and consumer trends, and educates, trains and disseminates information to members. The association also represents the industry’s interests on Capitol Hill and works with federal agencies on regulations affecting the housing industry in areas such as mortgage finance, codes, energy and the environment.

NAHB’s affiliates include the NAHB National Research Center, which develops, tests and evaluates new materials, methods, standards and equipment to improve the technology and the affordability of America’s housing; and the Home Builders Institute, NAHB’s workforce development arm, which develops and administers a wide range of educational and job training programs.
