Event Description:

You don’t want to miss hearing about this unique project and touring the Old School House Condominium project led by Tony Chiarelli fo Landmark Associates General Contracting. The Old School House contains 40 units that were heavily fire damaged on June 1, 2017. Landmark Associates came on as GC in 2018 and they expect a mid-2019 complettion date. Attendees will not only hear from Tony, but from Emerson Clauss III whose company, Allegiance Construction & Development LLC has subcontracted the finish work, but from Bryan Dempsey, of Metropolitan Cabinets and Countertops who is supplying all the cabinetry and counters for the building. NOTE: This is an active project. Hard hats are required for the tour. Concact scott@bragb.org to find out how to get a hard hat!

RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts: Construction & Demolition Best Management Practices

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has implemented waste disposal bans on many C&D materials. RecyclingWorks has developed a set of Best Management Practices for managing these materials including recycling and reusing. RecyclingWorks will provide attendees with guidance and resources for managing and organizing C&D materials.

Abbey Masaro, Environmental Specialist for the Center for EcoTechnology (which administers the RecylingWorks program), will present this informative webinar and take questions from the audience.
