With Rob Brennan serving as Chair, the HBRAMA Net Zero Subcommittee is working to build a coalition within the industry to develop and support various proposals, that if accepted by the Legislators and the Administration, would allow the implementation of the Net Zero Energy Bill without inhibiting housing development or placing an undue financial burden on the home builders and home buyers. The Committee is working to provide realistic cost estimates for the implementation of the Net Zero requirements, analyze the potential impact they will have on the construction and purchase of homes, and propose various incentives that if implemented would encourage the development of Net Zero homes without significant financial burden.
