Local Associations

Founded in 1941, the Builders Association of Central Massachusetts (BACM) is an organization of professionals involved in all phases of the home building industry. The BACM provides a positive atmosphere in which the association promotes an Increased awareness about our industry.

The Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston (BRAGB) has represented the industry since 1944. It is the region’s preeminent building association. BRAGB develops the professionalism and success of our members, influence public policy, promote high ethical standards, and encourage civic and environmental responsibility in the building industry.

The Association was formed by a small band of builders in 1950 and became a charter member of NAHB and HBAM in 1966. The Association’s mission is to support, promote, and advocate for the residential building industry while advancing housing attainability through education, professional development, networking, and legislative engagement.

Our association serves as a regional resource promoting professionalism and quality in the residential construction industry in Western Massachusetts since 1939.

Since 1942, NAHB has helped promote the policies that make housing a national priority. We strive to create an opportunity for Americans to realize the dream of home ownership, and the freedom for builders to operate as entrepreneurs in an open and competitive marketplace.
