To Our Friends in the Home Building Industry:

As you are aware, our friends Len and Cherylann Gengel established the Be Like Brit orphanage in Grand Goave, Haiti to honor their daughter, Britney, who perished tragically in the 2010 earthquake. We have made multiple visits to Haiti not only to support Be Like Brit and its 66 children, but also to build homes for families and generate income for the many laborers and friends we have made in Grand Goave over the years. These “Britsionary” trips traditionally provide up to a third of Be Like Brit’s operating income.

Be Like Brit just sent its first Britsionary group to Haiti last month; however, now the COVID-19 pandemic has descended upon our planet. As a consequence, Len and Cherylann have taken bold and responsible measures to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Many of you have supported this incredible cause in the past. We ask you to consider a donation at this difficult time for Be Like Brit. In the entire country of Haiti there are just 65 ventilators. Our objective is to help build a bridge from now until Len and Cherylann can rev up the Britsionary program again this fall. Please click here if you would like to read the email from Rick Muhr, Director of Development for Be Like Brit, requesting help.

We are so thankful that Andrew Chaban, CEO of Princeton Properties, a Britsionary along with his entire family, will make a generous donation of $5,000 to get us started.

Should you wish to contribute to Be Like Brit in this time of need, please send a check made payable to “Be Like Brit” and send it to:
